About the Program

Emerging Leaders Institute

ELI is a collaborative learning experience that helps participants explore their leadership styles, strengthen their leadership aptitude, and build confidence in their ability to support Community Action work at the local and statewide level.

The program combines formal training, peer networking, group discussion, and shared learning opportunities. Participants connect with colleagues from across New York State while developing skills that support stronger agencies, stronger teams, and stronger communities.

By equipping emerging leaders with these critical skills, NYSCAA helps ensure that Community Action Agencies can continue the important work of helping people and changing lives for low- and moderate-income New Yorkers.
