About Emily

Emily Hampton serves as Communications and Events Coordinator for the New York State Community Action Association. She supports NYSCAA's statewide communications efforts, helping to amplify the mission and impact of New York's network of Community Action Agencies through compelling content, digital strategy, and coordinated outreach.

Emily also supports planning for NYSCAA's annual statewide conference, helping coordinate event communications, logistics, and attendee-facing materials that connect and strengthen the Community Action Network.

With experience spanning broadcast journalism, nonprofit communications, and healthcare, Emily brings a storyteller's eye to her work. She helps translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content across digital platforms, photo and video, and live events.

Emily is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, where she earned a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media Production. She is passionate about meaningful work and the communities it serves.
