Tim Nichols serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the New York State Community Action Association (NYSCAA). He leads statewide efforts to strengthen and support New York’s network of Community Action Agencies through training, technical assistance, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships.

With a background in nonprofit leadership, community development, and organizational strategy, Tim focuses on building strong statewide connections, improving capacity across agencies, and advancing NYSCAA’s mission to help people and change lives. He oversees the organization’s strategic planning, program development, statewide initiatives, and engagement with state and federal partners.

Tim is committed to ensuring New York’s Community Action network has the tools, knowledge, and support needed to address poverty, empower communities, and create lasting impact.
